How It All Started
(Click any picture for a larger image!)
On
November 5, 1989, two die-hard Packer fans braved
the elements to enjoy, what was at that time, a
rare occurrence - a Packer victory! For several
years prior (and since), these fans, along with
their sometimes stinky, smelly friends (up to as
many as 20) attended each Packer-Bear game at
Lambeau Field. What made these trips unique was
that they spent the previous night partying in
the Packer Hall of Fame parking lot.

 |
As
you know, the Packer/Bear rivalry is one of the
most intense rivalries in the NFL. Back in 1986,
at a Monday night game at Lambeau Field prior to
this year, they couldn't find a hotel room. As
any typical college students would, they got
creative. From that night on and every year
since, they and their buddies have attended this
game in Green Bay, staying in the luxurious
accommodations of a U-Haul truck!!! Crude as it
may be, this event is truly the last bastion of
male bonding for their group.
|
Each
game day, after enjoying a night of terrorizing
those Bear fans crazy enough to enter Fuzzy's
Bar, these fanatics would rise from the cold,
steel floor tundra of the U-Haul to begin a day
of frenzied Packer festivities (their only shower
being one of beer). Every year prior to 1989,
their taunting and terrorizing of Bear fans and
players went unrewarded, as each year the Packers
lost.

 |
But
on November 5, 1989, the date of the famous
"Replay Game," all that changed. The
next morning, following the consumption of
numerous beverages the night before, they came
upon a wild idea. To commemorate the greatest
event in the history of the Packer-Bear rivalry,
these dedicated fans introduced the "After
Further Review...The Bears Still Suck"
T-shirt.
|
| In
recent years, the Packers have dominated the
hapless Bears. With the return of the Packers
dominance in the NFL, we are re-introducing a
commemorative edition of the shirt. |

We
wish you the best in life... and as always - GO PACK!
